WEST VANCOUVER VETERINARY HOSPITAL has been providing top-quality pet care for over 12 years.
West Vancouver Veterinary Hospital has been actively serving the pet community since 2011. We provide veterinary care 7 days a week. Our mission is to provide high quality veterinary care to the pets and their family. To keep your pets healthy and happy, we make continuous efforts to improve our services. Our veterinary, boarding and grooming services are all designed to optimize your pet’s health and well-being and give you peace of mind.
Laser therapy provides relief from pain and inflammation and makes your pet comfortable. Our in-house diagnostics such as blood & urine test, digital X-rays, and ultrasound provide an on site diagnosis of a disease and help us tailor our treatment protocol.

Our Team
Our team of skilled veterinarians and staff are passionate about animal care and are committed to providing personalized and compassionate care for your pet.
Dr. Masako Mizuno (aka Dr. Masako or Dr. M)
Dr. Mizuno was born in a small city near Tokyo, Japan. She graduated from a veterinary school at Azabu University in Japan in 1992. Dr. Masako worked at a veterinary teaching hospital at Azabu University where she cultivated her interest in cardiology, soft tissue surgery, and oncology from 1992 to 1996. She worked as a small animal practitioner for several years before moving to Canada. She studied Clinical pathology as a graduate diploma student at University of Guelph in 2004, and completed her veterinary license in Canada. She has keen interest in feline medicine, soft tissue surgery and dentistry. She is constantly attending labs/seminars for polishing her skills of ultrasound/echocardiogram.
Dr. Sandhu
Dr. Sandhu holds a post graduation degree (MVSc) in Veterinary Microbiology from College of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry in Punjab (India). After completing his post graduation he joined the Punjab Government's Veterinary Department and served as a veterinary officer. Then he migrated to Canada and pursued his career as a small animal practitioner. Dr. Sandhu has interest in preventive veterinary medicine . He has keen interest in the administrative aspect of the veterinary practice as he wants to improve the level of veterinary care provided to the pets and their owners.
